The starting iPad Air 5 price is $599/£649 for the Wi-Fi configured tablet with 64GB of storage. Wi-fi with cellular models start at $749/£719. These days 64GB of storage isn't exactly generous, although it might do if you use cloud storage. But anyone handling a lot of media will probably want to opt for the 256GB configuration, which is priced at $749/£819 for the wi-fi version and $899/£869 for the wi-fi and 5G cellular version.

Which is the best iPad Air to buy?
The 2020 4th gen iPad Air is still widely available and is coming in for more discounts, but for our money, the new 5th-generation iPad Air (2022) is a worthwhile upgrade.
